Workshop Samples

I'll be heading to Hope, NJ in a few weeks, to teach a series of dyeing workshops at the North Country Spinner's Fibre Fallout. This will be my second appearance there, and I'm really looking forward to it.

In addition to teaching my graduated color band class

and the spiral dyeing class

I've added two new workshops. A Watermelon Sock Blank class

and a class on dyeing worsted weight blanks (which I had knitted up specially for the class by my friend Kim Haibeck of Yarnsanity).

It's going to be such fun!

Back to normal again

Sorry that I've been out of touch. I spent last week in Michigan, teaching at the Michigan Fiber Festival, and having a wonderful time, as always. We got home very late Monday night (without our luggage, which didn't make it to our connecting flight... we barely made it to our connecting flight, and there was no way the bags were going to get across the terminal in that amount of time. I think we were on the ground less than 25 minutes at MSP, which may be a new world record), but we picked them up yesterday. Maybe by tomorrow, I'll be rested up enough to post some pics.

I'll be home for a month now, and then I'm off to New Jersey to teach dyeing classes at the North Country Spinners Fibre Fallout retreat. I taught there two years ago and had a wonderful time. I'm looking forward to going back!

Wordless Julep, except for a new link to the polishes

If you want to check out Julep's colors, click here.

(okay, a couple more words: in case it's not painfully obvious, I cannot recommend Julep's polishes highly enough. I love them.)
