I tried se...K here: posting for Liz, who could not

I tried several times to leave this in the comments for the April 10th blog - but blogger and capcha are not my friends. Liz

1. Have you ever been abducted by aliens?
Not since I cut back on the beer.

2. Do you come here (to this blog) for the knitting, or for the paper dolls, or for American Idol Recaps, or for some other reason?
I first came because I'd read and enjoyed your mysteries. I return because I like your sense of humour and writing, even when it is about stuff that's out of my norm (like paper dolls - I loved them as a kid, but hadn't thought about them for decades. How/why did you start putting them online?) I love the American Idol recaps (see sense of humour above) and I really liked the description and pictures of your husband's work....the only thing missing was the lovely smell of sawdust and wood.

3. What's your favorite spring flower?
Crocus

4. The Monkees were a much better band than they ever got credit for. Discuss.
Well, they were kind of cute (damning with faint praise here).

5. What's your favorite candy?
Tend to prefer salty treats like nuts or chips. Favourite sweet is coffee ice cream.

6. What other needlework do you do?
Don't. Nearly got thrown out of Brownies when I was 8 because I couldn't knit the square. I still remember the once pretty yellow wool which with overuse and grimy hands (did I mention I was a messy little kid?) eventually turned an ugly greyish colour. I think my mother finished the thing for me so I could be safely out of her hair for an hour a week. Though I like the descriptions and pictures you post...wish I weren't such a klutz with my hands.

7. Is Facebook a Tool of the Devil, or The Greatest Thing That Ever Happened?
Neither. It's useful because a couple of people I know are easier to keep in touch with on Facebook than with other methods. Other than that, it can be just okay or sometimes a big time suck.

8. If you are a knitter or crocheter, what is your favorite yarn?
See number 6.

9. Why should I not buy a loom? Seriously, why not?
If you have room for it - why not? Makes a lot more sense for you to have it than somebody who will put it in a corner as "decor".

10. Do we know each other in person?
Nope, but reading your blog for more than a year makes me feel as though we've met, which is marginally weird, since up til now you haven't known of my existence.

11. Which place to you like to visit the most?
Because of the people I visit there...Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; Shediac, New Brunswick, Canada; Montreal, Quebec, Canada. For tourism....Britain.Kathleen Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08096607261757810034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-661356795743869465.post-71918781859710236112012-04-12T00:23:41.207-05:002012-04-12T00:23:41.207-05:001. Why should I not buy a loom? Seriously, why not?
They really eat up space, the loom itself and its stash. Do you have a lot of space?
10.
