The Aha! Moment

Finally, a use for all those novelty yarns that I bought back when I thought I was going to like knitting with novelty yarns!
Warped with commercial cotton. The weft is a merino/sparkle novelty yarn that I've had forever.
 Shiny!
6 1/2" wide, 72" long (excluding fringe). It took about 80 yds of weft.
You can't see the sparkle in this shot, but it's there.
Start to finish (including warping the loom): 3 1/2 hours!

  2. Oh man, I totally have to get my loom out of its bag. I could weave a scarf a day and be done Christmas (plus, done my stash) in less than a month!
