1 Year of Stitches, Week 7

The rest of this week's stitching:

1 Year of Stitches Feb 14-15, A New Stitch

I'm doing a series of woven squares on the 1 Year of Stitches project.

All the way around, I will be making the warp (with 3 strands of floss) using the darkest solid color in the wedge (the center color) to the left and the weft (again, 3 strands of floss) using the darkest solid color in the wedge to the right.

1 Year of Stitches- First 4 Weeks

I am so loving working on this! And... just the process of doing a little bit every day and then stopping has jump started other creative areas. I'm working on a new (old) book- a Grade 3-5 fantasy novel that I started and set aside years ago. 500-600 words per day, and the page pile is growing. I expect to finish the first draft this month!  Woot!
