More Robots

My mom and grandma taught my sisters and I how to do this kind of embroidery when I was eight or so, about the same time they taught me to knit. For awhile, no pillowcase in the county was safe from iron-on transfers. I hadn't done any in many years, and I had forgotten how much fun it is. I'm having a blast with these guys.

And, of course, I sing this song as I work...

I got the idea of this kind of embroidery a few years back and have been having fun with it ever since. I buy plain t-shirts from craft store, take pictures from kids coloring books and use back stitch it on the shirts. This results in handmade gifts for my young nephews and nieces. I have never done a robot before. All of your robots look so cute!. Thanks for the idea.

It's such fun! I haven't done this kind of embroidery since I was a kid.
