Day of the Dead Embroidery

I knew I wasn't done with outline embroidery after finishing the Robot Quilt, but I wasn't sure what to do next. A friend recommended Urban Threads, and I was off to the races again.

 (larger hoop)

(Despite my Grandma's best tutelage, the back of my embroidery does not look as nice as the front).

I'm going to make several larger blocks, in assorted sizes, and build a quilt around them.

That looks wonderful! Your embroidery looks great to me...front AND back.

This is lovely. I have to ask, do you have a system that moderates what craft you are doing? I want to dive in to a little needle work, but have a hard enough time balancing my desire to knit and spin without adding in more fiber pursuits, so thus far I have just denied new things...I am always impressed with your fiber diversity!

Thank you both!
Maxine- I mostly just go with the flow, whatever fascinates me at the time is what I do. But... I do try to limit the side trips. In fact, I just turned down a free disassembled floor loom because I really really really can't start something new right now. And I know me- it would take over my house and life!

Still, a free loom... sniff...
