Almost Wordless Weaving Noro

I like the dark warp better, but both are pretty, and each scarf used almost an entire skein of Noro Kureyon (both skeins were the same colorway).

Oh, Picture #5 is why I want a loom with a cloth beam- it's really hard to advance the warp evenly on this loom.

ohhhh, you're killing me that I can't get to my loom yet! These are gorgeous. (does the knitter's loom have the cloth beam, btw?)

Yes it does- the woven cloth winds on a round pole (beam) and stays out of your way when you advance the warp. It really helps to keep an even tension on the whole piece. The knitter's loom has a warp beam too (with the warp wound on another round thing- my loom has the warp wound around a big rectangle piece of wood. It all works, but it's a lot more awkward to advance)
