Taken by my phone, last night, just before I collapsed...
144 sts per row
12 rows per repeat
6 beads added individually, every 4th row
2 repeats = about 4"
4"= about 3 hours of work (a full evening of knitting, which is as much as I could do before I'd start making mistakes)(2 of which will need some artful fixing after blocking)
Each half = a little over 37"
Had to wind the 4th skein of Knit Picks Bare fingering weight Merino, but did not use much of it
Had to open the second 2.1 oz bead packet
So, today I Kitchener, and you will probably hear me swearing from wherever you are.
If the shawl and I survive Kitchenering, I'll block it tonight.
5 gazillion pins...
I'll take pics

so beautiful!
Yay! It will be an heirloom for sure. It's beautiful, and I bet bt the end of tonight, you will be an expert Kitchener.
Huzzah!!!
It's beautiful! and whatever the heck Kichenering is, I'm sure you will do it brilliantly!
I agree with Martha re colorful language... definitely on the eve of the great fireworks festival, the more color the better!
"happy swearing" made me laugh! Your shawl came out so lovely!
Love those almost done things! You could write a catchy kitchener song for next years american idol contestants. "Knit off, purl on, purl off, knit on... and on and on!
Swearing and holding your mouth just right should get the job done.
