BBoS in the Parade Magazine

I'll  write up a report (with pictures) of this weekend's adventures at NCFF soon (tonight or tomorrow morning), but in the meantime: The Big Book of Socks was mentioned in today's issue of the Parade Magazine... which just happens to be in every Sunday paper in the entire country...

All the Right Ingredients

Flags. Soldiers. Tractors. Candy tossed from all moving vehicles. Fire Trucks (sirens blaring). Boy Scouts. Pretty girls waving from convertibles. The town mascot. Old Cars. Lady Liberty and Uncle Sam. Horsies (including a small boy on a small horse). And ending with the Kiddie Train.

And you know what we didn't have, and didn't miss? Politicians.

It was a good parade, with a route slightly altered by road construction, but otherwise unimpeded by rain or frowns. And all over in a half hour.
