I'm home- yesterday's flights were all smooth, and on time. For a change, the bad weather was not in my flight path. And the Weiner Pretzel I had for lunch in the Denver airport was pretty darn good. But the 185 mile drive home last night was a bit hairy, especially the last 60 miles in heavy snows and on icy roads.
Yesterday I had palm trees
And black swans in a pond
and this interesting bird
(thanks to RuthieJ, I now know it's a Long-Billed Curlew)
and snowbird Canadians having a Street Curling Tournament.
Those Canadians know how to partay.
But it's good to be home, snow or no snow (and very likely it'll be snow for a good long time). And I hope not to get on another plane for at least 3 months. I have work to do. But I think I'll take a nap first.
