snarl

I had what I am sure was an award-winnningly funny post written for today with links and pictures all embedded and ready to go. I punched the publish post button and it disappeared, without saving a draft or any evidence that it ever existed. I am too crabby to rewrite it. Give me an hour to stop feeling sorry for myself, and I'll try again. [insert many bad words]

Blogger automatically saves the posts periodically while you're writting. Go to Edit posts and it should be there.

I know this falls under the heading of closing the barn door after the horses are gone, but I always compose my posts in my word processing program. I'll put in placeholders to tell me where to put the pictures and reminders about sites to link to. Then copy-paste into blogger and do the fine-tuning. It's not perfect, but at least that way I've got the text to go back to if blogger goes kerfluie.

This time, I did save the post in WORD (and as I wrote it), and it worked.

I really should know better- Backup is my middle name. You can look it up.
