Saff Day 2- Fair Isle Fun

Today's All Day Fair Isle class went swimmingly.

Once again, I was blessed with Genius Students:

Catherine finished her hat in class! Super Genius! (It's toddler sized, btw). Everyone else did extremely well too:

More beautiful hats and extremely smart students!

Connie nearly finished her hat in class...

...and then she did finish it after class (except for sewing the hem).

It was a wonderful day- and the rain stopped (though NorthCarolina humidity is intense- my hair is curlier than it has ever been, and I feel damp all the time), and the trees are turning red and gold and orange, and are becoming more beautiful by the minute.

I can hardly believe that tomorrow is the last day of SAFF already. Time flies when you're having the adventure of your life.

Oh- 3 words that I never thought of putting together: Goat Milk Fudge. Another word: omigod

Welcome to North Carolina!

Although I've never knit a sock in my life, the good reviews I've read about your new book have convinced me that if there's a knitted sock in my future, it must be from your book. I wish you could put some of your energy between its covers. . . WOW, you're busy!

Yes, and from the photo, I look like a super-genius too! Thanks for the GREAT class: it's fun to see the photos. And I agree that "omigod" is the only fair response to the goat's milk fudge.
