Look at the styles today...They are very similar. I made a long dress for my cousins wedding(in the early 70's), that must have been the same pattern as the red jumper with the ruffles...A walk down memory lane....

I think I still have some of those patterns -- are they classic or vintage now?
I think my sisters actually *made* some of the clothes in these patterns back when they first came out.
#4- I think #2 used the yellow gingham dress pattern for her first wedding dress.
bmom- I like vintage better than *geezer*... heh...
Maire: I know I sewed several of those smock top things for myself. and loved them totally... so embarrassing...
Accually I think Mom made the yellow gingham pattern for #3's wedding dress and mine and Mary Pats Brides maid dresses, I also made several smock tops and loved every one of them
Ah #4- You're right. I had the numbers mixed up (the joys of getting old...)
look at those sleeves - I can't believe I wore that! Horror - everyone looked like they were wearing maternity clothes. The shoes were very cool though. Thanks Kathi once again!

Brooke and Erin were who I wanted to be as a young teen in the 70s. I was so in awe of my friend Deb whose mom allowed her to "go mod" one summer.
