And the blue Doctor on Safari suit is a winner, too. Did people actually make these patterns for their menfolk? The mind boggles.

I know!! I'm trying to imagine the target market for this doll. I know a guy who woulda loooooved it when we were kids though ;^)

And I still think my friend would looooove one for his desk at work.

The outfits are hilarious, but people really did make these! I think I know someone who still has similar items in his closet!

Karen and btraxsd, I think people really did sew this stuff. I sewed a lot in the 70's, but never tackled jeans or slacks. I remember guys wearing short-sleeved polyester doubleknit leisure suits though. ... shudder...

Maire- go right ahead and print a copy of Derek out for your friend. It's a workable paper doll, pornstache and all.
